OK, so I'm just getting started here.
Welcome friends, family, and whoever else might be watching.
I saw this nifty idea and thought I'd try it out.
Document your life with one picture every day. That's it. Seems simple.
It was a lot of fun most of the time, a bit of a chore some days, but I'm glad I did it. It got me carrying my camera with me all the time and thinking about how to share my life here in China with people.
The pictures cover a little more than one month in my life here. I had planned to post them earlier, but the main Interweb connection between Asia and North America was cut early near the end of the year so posting was impossible. After that I went on vacation for a few weeks, but now I'm back and nothing can stop me.
I hope you enjoy the pics.

Tom, Ben sent us your email with the blog site. As I sit, still on crutches, still recovering from the broken leg from the auto accident last July, I was thrilled to view your pics and read your comments. It is a wonderful way to easily share your fascinating experiences with a lot of people. And it gives us an insight not only into your life, but into life in China in a very comfortable way.
