My Chinese teacher turned me on to 无间道 (Wu Jian Dao), or Infernal Affairs. It's the Hong Kong movie from 2002 that The Departed is based on and it's much, much better. If you've seen Marty's version, see Infernal Affairs, I think you owe it to yourself.
While Leonardo is wonderful in The Departed, the rest of it is crap. Well, relative crap. This is my judgment after watching Infernal Affairs.
